Manta Viewing – Hanifaru Bay trip

Hanifaru Bay, the plankton filled spot where all Manta’s come to meet. During the manta season that is from June till November, the south west monsoon causes planktons to be heavily built up in this area attracting hundreds of Manta Rays and whale sharks. It is a once in a lifetime experience to swim with these gentle giants during their feeding frenzy.

Whale Shark & Manta Snorkeling

Hanifaru Bay is a top spot for marine lovers who are in search of whale sharks , especially from May to November. During this time, lots of plankton get trapped in the reef, attracting whale sharks and many Manta Rays. You can see over a hundred Mantas and whale sharks feeding off the coral reef at the same time. This makes Hanifaru Bay the world’s largest feeding station, offering an unforgettable experience for visitors.
